Kaguya (かぐや) is based on Kaguyahime from the Japanese folktale, The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter. The woman was known for her enchanting beauty and for her surreal origins within a bamboo stalk. After her brief stay within the mortal realm, the maiden returned to her immortal home on the moon. She is said to be based on one of Emperor Suinin's concubines of the same name.

"Lady Kaguya. How are you?" Yinglong approached the moon princess and bowed in respect while greeting her
"oh fair maiden of the moon please accept this white lily of friendship" he hands kaguya a white lily.
She was a bit surprised to receive such a gift randomly, but accepted it nonetheless. "Thank you." she said, bowing deeply.
"eek you sooooooo cute." 
She titled her head to the side, a bit confused. "You think I am. . . cute?"
